Clinical Scene Investigator Academy (CSI)
In order to leverage the staff nurse’s expertise in how to improve patient care, the Bi-State Nursing Workforce Innovation Center has developed a Clinical Scene Investigator (CSI) Academy.
Staff nurses will be selected to attend sessions on problem identification and leadership skills. The CSIs will develop an innovative project that targets a patient safety issue on their unit. Funding for the project will be provided by the Center. The CSIs will be supported with the development, implementation and evaluation of the project. The overall goal of this program is to create and sustain measurable improvements in patient care.
